We love going to estate sales, we try to find one each weekend. Sometime they are a complete bust but sometimes you really find some gems (sometimes literally). I’ve found beautiful silk scarves, vintage hats and brooches and even a fur coat. Each time we attend an estate sale it’s a strange feeling knowing that someone has recently passed away and we are perusing through their possessions. We don’t know these people, however I’m content in the knowledge that we are breathing new life into the things that they had loved during their lifetime.
