Enchanted in Germany

I know I’ve been a bit MIA lately, we have family visiting us for the summer and we’ve been running around doing and seeing so much that I haven’t really had time to blog any outfits. But I knew that we were going to visit some castles today, so I made a point to take some extra photos to put this blog post together.
We visited Burg Eltz first and it was a truly amazing experience. It’s nestled in the hills above the Moselle River between Koblenz and Trier, Germany. It is still owned by a branch of the same family that lived there in the 12th century, 33 generations ago! We were able to tour the inside of the castle, but unfortunately photos are not allowed inside.
Then we drove down to Cochem and strolled around the old town. We didn’t make it in time for the castle tour, but we got some great shots of the castle atop the hill. I can’t wait to go back and tour the inside of the castle.
Both of these castles are so amazingly beautiful, you can’t help but feel like a Queen standing in the courtyard.

I hope that you continue to have a fun, fabulous summer, sweet lady.
