Dress Review: Miss Candyfloss – Kassandra-Lou dress

This past summer I was contacted by Miss Candyfloss about collaborating with them to review a few dresses. As I have a couple Miss Candyfloss pieces (Sheila Lee Playsuit and Odette Kat Dress), I jumped at the chance to work directly with the company. I sent them my measurements and a list of a few dresses I was interested in and they chose two lovely dresses for me.
The “Kassandra Lou” is the first dress. With accents of black/white/grey tartan, 3/4 sleeves and a mid-weight stretchy fabric, this dress is a perfect addition to my Autumn/Winter wardrobe. The fabric is a great medium weight as it can be worn on warmer days, or you can add a pair of tights or maybe a light petticoat for colder days.
I adore the pleating on the bust and the raised collar gives a nice accent. The detail on the sleeves is a lovely touch as well.

I just popped-in to say: oh, how much I love (love, love!) your festive brooch.. and, mind me saying: your brows look stunning..
The entire wardrobe is well-put and you get my “thumbs up”.

30th Nov 2015 - 8:33 amDeeply, deeply gorgeous cold weather look. I reach for black, white and/or grey, and red or burgundy so frequently during the winter, I call it my cold weather uniform, and thus this look made me swoon (and want to wear it!) all the more. Great styling – and that coat, wow, the loveliest icing on an already beautiful cake (err, outfit :)).

Thank you so much! Being a makeup artist I have a lot of black in my wardrobe and also tend towards those colors in the winter. There is something warming and comfortable about black/white/grey.

6th Dec 2015 - 11:11 amI adore the tartan, but when paired with that stunning ruby-red coat! The whole outfit just takes on another dimension! Your hair flowers with the snood; also a perfect touch. This is a spectacularly pretty winter look. 🙂 ❤
