Flowers in Freinsheim

The Gentleman and I met a friend in Freinsheim for the village’s Altstadfest (Old Town Fest) this afternoon. This village is nestled in a beautiful part of the wine country here in Rhineland-Pfalz near Bad Dürkheim. It’s a very old and very charming little town with a Late Gothic town wall which includes towers and gates, that has been almost wholly preserved.

There were so many beautiful flowers around the town and in beautiful little gardens. Some were even growing on and out of the walls!!

7th Jun 2016 - 3:56 pmVery beautiful pictures!
I am living in Rheinland-Pfalz as well and I found your blog thanks to your friends Laurence and Sylvain, from the blog Lost in the 1950s.
I admit I do not know all towns in the county or around the Mosel River but I love some of them like Bernkassel-Kuess.
The combination of the dress, cardigan and turban is really nice and I like the colour combination you did.
Have a wonderful week,

21st Jun 2016 - 4:04 pmI love the landscape where I am living and the town as well, pretty although it might be a bit quite for me (I used to live in a Capital before with a good night life).
Sadly I have been sick the past few weeks and because the weather hasn’t been that great I have not been out that much (apart from last Sunday when I met some friends with our classic cars).
Have a great week!

8th Jun 2016 - 2:38 amGorgeous photos and outfit! The way that the roses pick up the similar pink shade in your dress is nothing short of sublime. Plus, a huge “yay” for lime green here. I’m delighted to know I’m not the only vintage fashion wearing gal whose a big fun of this punchy shade.
Oodles of hugs & happy (nearly) summertime wishes!
