We spent the afternoon at Awesome Con today in Washington DC, it was a ton of fun! I dressed in a Pin-up style and had a lot of fun with it. I was surprised at how many people asked to take MY photo when there were so many half naked Cos Players around, but I was flattered.

I love it when the weather is lovely on my days off especially when I get to use my parasol. I picked up some new shades this afternoon at Target and I couldn’t be happier with them.

Rawlings Conservatory

At the tail end of Winter, we decided to visit the Rawlings Conservatory to get a shot of Spring into our system. This winter was particularity long and cold and seeing beautiful flowers really perked us up.

My affection for Baltimore waxes and wanes on a daily basis. However, when I heard that there was to be a Billie Holiday Festival this weekend, my heart swelled with pride for my adopted home. Yesterday was pure heaven for me! Since being introduced to this wonderful period drama, both Will and I have been hooked.
