Our plans to attend a festival on Saturday were foiled by stormy and very windy weather, however it gave me a great opportunity to wear my new Pantskirt/Playsuit from Miss Candyfloss. Everyone knows that I do not hold any love for trousers. I rarely wear them and when I do, I very rarely document it. When I saw this outfit on the Miss Candyfloss website, I thought it might be a great alternative to wearing a traditional trouser. The weather...

Well I’ve made it to Germany! The trip over was gratefully uneventful. My three dogs travelled with us and they all did very well.
Today we spent the day driving around looking for houses. I fell in love with one in particular, but I’m not certain it will work out, we’ll see. We are determined to find something that suits us perfectly and we have more homes to look at tomorrow.
After a day of driving around we decided to do a...

This past year, especially the last 6 months has been a mixed bag of emotions for me.
As I am about to embark on a new chapter in my life, I would like to share some of the things that I’ve been contending with lately in hopes that, those of you who follow me on social media or just through this blog, will share in my journey with me and understand who I am a little more.
For the past 6 years...

Living in this part of the U.S. has re-awakened my thirst for history, especially about the Revolutionary War. And anytime there is a connection to France I am deeply interested in it.
In 1780 the Hermione, a 12-pounder Concorde class frigate of the French Navy,...

Last September I was able to attend the Dapper Day Event at Disneyland. This has been a dream of mine since they started it in 2011. So when we decided to visit California, we made sure our trip was centered around this particular event.
What is Dapper Day??Â
“Started in February 2011, DAPPER DAY Events organizes fashionable outings to Disney Parks twice a year (spring and fall) in LA, Orlando, and Paris. These events include a “DAPPER DAY at the Parks” with informal in-park...
The Witch House of Beverly Hills

On our trip back to California in September we visited another landmark that has fascinated me since my childhood. My Grandpa first took me to see this house when I was a young girl on one of our regular trips to Disneyland. Located in the star studded neighborhood of Beverly Hills this house has always been shrouded in mystery for me. Until of course the invent of the internet. Then I was able to not only learn the history of...
