As I’ve recently joined TikTok and I’m searching for other “vintage” creators to follow, I’ve come to the realization that the perimeters of the term vintage are changing and it’s caused a bit of an existential crisis for this old broad, since the term vintage actually encompasses the eras between 1930 and 2000 now!!!
So I’m wondering if we should further specify our style of vintage a bit more? I want to start a productive conversation about this, so please watch the video and then comment or send me a message...

I’ve shown you my vintage wet set, so I thought I’d do a tutorial for a vintage hot roller set this time. I don’t normally do heat sets, as I find they don’t last very long in my hair, but I did one anyway. In this tutorial I use a combination of hot rollers and a curling iron to create a vintage hairstyle. I’d love to hear from you if you prefer a hot roller set to a wet set or the other way around.

I started my vintage brooch collection when I was about 14 or 15 years old. Brooches were an inexpensive way for me to add a little je ne sais quoi to an outfit and bring the ensemble some vintage flair. I find brooches to be an amazing way to tie an outfit together and to show your personality. They can be fun and quirky or glamours and elegant.
