I’ve been asked many times how I style an outfit. It’s one of those things that I didn’t really think about much to be honest. But I wanted to at least try and show my process of putting an outfit together. Most of my styling is trial and error, I put colors together and see how I like them or not and try to think outside of the box with my accessories.
In this video I’ll show you three vintage inspired outfits styled two ways. I’ll offer you some styling tips on how to style a vintage inspired outfit for yourself.

5th Dec 2021 - 10:41 amHi Christine, really liked how you styled your outfits and think outside the box. Love your sweaters and how you belt them. My question is are the crepe dresses hot? My dresses from EShakti are cotton. I’ve yet to order the jersey knit, but have my eye on those. They have beautiful florals in the crepe fabric but I’m in the hot zone of life and don’t know how I would tolerate them in summer. Love your closet organization as well. I have all my seaters on shelves and it’s tough to keep it nice. They get buried alive haha. You always motivate me to think beyond my conservative nature and get more creative. I appreciate that. Thanks.

25th Dec 2021 - 2:38 amHello Mary! I’m so happy you are enjoying my content and I hope you find it helpful. As for the crepe dresses, they are quite light and are great for warmer climates. They have a really nice flow to them and I find them to be very cooling. The jersey knit dresses seem to be the heaviest from eShakti so I like to wear those on cooler days. I hope that helps.
