Vintage Waves & Curls from a Pillow Roller Set

I’m generally a creature of habit, when I find something that works for me I rarely stray away from it. But I’m trying to be a bit more adventurous with hairstyling and I’ve wanted to try out a different kind of set to achieve my vintage waves and curls. So I tried out a pillow roller set. I’ve always been able to achieve great vintage waves and curls with my sponge roller wet set, but I thought I’d see if these pillow rollers might give me something different.

I’ve seen and heard others have great results so I kind of wanted to see what the fuss was all about. I had purchased a set of pillow rollers in the past and didn’t have great results. Mostly because the foam in the rollers was square and I found that they gave my curls an odd shape.

I found these rollers that are round and they worked much better.
